Shipping Terms & Conditions
All orders are carefully packed and shipped promptly after being received. If your order is placed before 12pm, we strive to dispatch it on the same day. However, during peak times and public holidays, some delays may occur.
All parcels are delivered via Australia Post, and once they leave our premises, the courier takes over. The Tasmanian Honey Company cannot control the delivery speed. You will receive a tracking notification email from Australia Post once your order has been packed and dispatched.
Upon completing your order, you will automatically receive an email confirmation. However, please note that we depend on automated technology to send these notifications. If you do not receive your email confirmation, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected], but remember to check your junk folder first!
Shipping costs are determined at the checkout based on Australia Post integration and are influenced by weight. If you prefer to receive your parcel swiftly, please choose EXPRESS POST, as we cannot guarantee a specific delivery timeframe.
We take great pride in ensuring that your orders are packed and dispatched in optimal condition. However, there are instances when mishandling can occur during transit, resulting in your order arriving in less than satisfactory condition. If it were possible, we would gladly deliver the goods directly to your doorstep, but we do depend on Australia Post for this service. See below for Damaged and Defected products.
We prefer shipping with Australia Post using the ‘signiture on delivery’ method. Since honey is a food product and sensative to heat, it must not be left in direct sunlight. If you prefer your parcel to be “safe dropped” in a secure location without requiring a signiture, please indicate this in the comments section at the checkout. However, please be aware that choosing “safe drop” is at your own risk and will not qualify for a return or refund if the honey has been overheated or damaged during delivery.
Refund & Returns
At The Tasmanian Honey Company, we are commited to delivery premium honey products while ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. Should you find yourself less than happy for any reason, please feel free to reach out to us.
Returns: As honey is a food product, we are unable to accept returns.
Refunds: We reserve the right to decline a refund based on our discretion and the reason provided.
Change of mind: Refunds will not be issued if a change of mind occurs or if the product has been opened.
Damaged or Defective products: If you find that an item you received is damaged, please reach out to us within three days of receiving your order. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.
To initiate a refund, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and a clear photo of the damaged or defective item. The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. If your request is approved, we will either send you a replacement of the same product or provide a full refund.
Order cancellations/changes: To cancel an online order, please email [email protected] within 30 minutes of your purchase. Cancellations can only be accepted if the items have not yet been packed. If your cancellation request is approved, you will receive a full refund, minus a $10 administration fee. This fee accounts for our staff’s time and any charges incurred from the third-party payment provider.
Shipping restrictions
International – Certain countries have weight limits of 2kgs of honey due to importation regulations. If your delivery address is not recognised at the checkout, you may be over the limit for that destination, therefore, please adjust your cart to under 2kgs. There may be an import duty fee that you need to settle before the customs department of your country releases your parcel upon its arrival. Please be aware that this varies according to each country’s regulations. We recommend checking with your local import department prior to placing an order to avoid any unexpected costs. If you refuse to pay the import duty and the parcel is sent back to us, you will not be entitled of a refund.
New Zealand is strictly prohibited for any Australian honey.
Domestic – Due to strict Biosecurity regulations, we are unable to send honey to Western Australia or Kangaroo Island.
Payments
All prices are in AUD and includes GST where applicable.
We accept PayPal and Visa/Mastercard (Stripe). PayPal and Stripe are third party companies that cannot store your payment details with us using encryption.
The Tasmanian Honey Company remains in ownership of the goods until full payment is received.

You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists any time by contacting us in writing or selecting ‘unsubscribe” from the email.
